Payment

I understand that payment (hourly and tips) for the Taste will occur at the Staff party (which will tentatively be scheduled sometime between 9/12-9/17). If you can't (or don't want to) attend the staff party, pay will be sent via electronic payment during that timeframe.

Transportation and Parking

I understand that transportation to and from the event is my responsibility. If I choose to drive, I will make my own parking plan and will not contact Luke or Rebecca for parking help, as they are unable to provide parking options for me. I understand that there are no staff parking passes and that I am responsible for any parking costs.

No Drama Llama

There has been a bit of a trend of personal drama spilling unrelated messiness on to the business. Our goal is to ensure that doesn't continue to happen at any event; especially during the Taste of Chicago. If it continues to happen, it is going to be difficult to keep growing what we are trying to build. We have built a very intentional and special "Doom Crew" - and many of us have friendships outside of work; however please remember this is also a business and we need for everyone to show up rested, sober, and ready to contribute to the team. Our success means we can keep growing which will lead to even more opportunities for everyone. I understand that we are working towards a Drama Free environment and I will do my best to not cause or contribute to any drama at the 2024 Taste of Chicago.
